flight benefits again

After 3.5 years without flight benefits...they're back! I started a job with DGS (delta global services) at the Redmond airport working the ramp. I work 3 nights a week and we can fly for free again! Matt & the kids have already flown a few times. The kids hoped to go to Hawaii over Christmas break. We knew it was a long shot with flights so busy. Matt flew with them to SLC in hopeS of catching a flight to LAX where he planned to put them on a plane to the big island. Once they got to SLC the flight out of LA was starting to look too full and they would have been stuck in LA for a few days if they didn't make the flight to Kona. We decided it wasn't worth the risk so they had a mini vacation in downtown SLC. Stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn and rode TRAX to temple square

They made the most of it and had a good time. The flight back to Redmond was looking like it might cancel due to weather so instead they flew to tri-cities WA to my brother Chad'S and I drove and met them there. We had a great impromptu visit with Chad & Kristi and family. We stayed over night and headed back home the next day. It was a perect 2nd beSt to Hawaii. Guess we'll have to try for Hawaii again soon!
