Elders Blackburn

Well it’s been an interesting month or so! Adam entered the MTC on March 18th. He was scheduled to go to the Provo MTC and then on to his mission in McAllen Texas, Spanish speaking but Coronavirus has changed things up a bit! He found out a week before he was to leave that the MTC would not be taking any more missionaries and he’d have his training at home! What a disappointment when he was so excited and ready to leave but he handled it amazingly and has really enjoyed his training so far.

(Some pics from when he went to the temple a couple months ago)

Adam has always been one to go with the flow and adapt. We’ve loved having him home a little longer and enjoy hearing the laughter and music and Spanish coming from the next room. I stole a Couple pics from his mission email of his set up

He’s spent many hours at this computer! The church has done a good job with training and keep them busy from 8am-8pm almost every day with a few breaks in between.

He and his companion’s bed (Dawson)  we moved all 3 boys into the Master in preparation for Isaac to come home!!! He will be here tomorrow! We weren’t sure if he’d make it out of Argentina anytime soon with a nationwide (Argentina) shut down. We are grateful for the efforts the church has made to get the missionaries home! They’ve chartered busses and airplanes to bring missionaries from all over Argentina (and already have with most other missions in the world)! Here’s A couple pics I found on the mission Facebook page of Isaac getting on the bus to leave his mission and a couple weeks before he and his companion and mission president shopping for food/supplies for all the missionaries in preparation for a nationwide quarantine  I’m sure it was a bitter sweet moment. He has been serving as the AP and has a Love for every missionary in his mission and has grown close with his president and mission mom. He’s loved his time in Argentina. We are grateful he’s agreed to come home. Haha! After a couple weeks of being in lock down he’s finally ready!

I can’t wait to his this kid tomorrow! It’s been too long! It will be neat to have two missionaries in our home!
