This morning we woke up early to hike straight up a mountain and then slide down the muddy trail. It was sooo beautiful and super sketchy in a few parts. Isaac has been excited to show us some of his favorite spots from when he was a student here. It was fun trying to keep up with these kids! I may have let a few swear words slip on the way down. Did I mention it was super sketchy?
After an ocean rinse off and stop at our Airbnb, Our next stop for the day was Waimea Bay. Perfect beach day! Wasn’t too hot but the sun peaked out a few times to warm us up but not enough to fry us the first day.

We made a quick stop at Haleiwa for lunch and stopped by the Dole plantation hoping for some dole whip but the line was a mile long.
Apparently I had intentions of jumping back on here and posting each day of our trip but time got away and it didn’t happen. Here’s a few more photos of our few days there. It was so amazing to be back in Hawaii with our family, I just wasn’t ready to leave Olivia there.

After a little time at the beach our last morning, we dropped Liv off with her 9 (yes nine!) roommates.
Leaving our girl in Hawaii, I had to flight the tears back hard!! She worked hard to get there and I know she was so excited and ready. She didn’t know any of her roommates when she moved in but she quickly made friends and had an amazing first semester. Hawaii is a special place and I knew it would take care of our girl!
