Olivia was in an Opera last week. Her Kindergarten class wrote the 15 minute Opera "The Gingerbread Cowboy" It was quite the production! The kids painted the scenery and everything. I went to help the day they painted it and the teacher gave strict instructions that the kids were to do the drawing and painting. They had decided ahead of time what they wanted and we just guided them as to wear to draw it and where to paint. It looked great!

Olivia was one of the "cowboys" She was the only girl cowboy (cowgirl) and she looked so cute in her pink getup. Grandma Dawson whipped up a pink vest and we bought a pink hat. Dawson's boots got eaten by Koda at the last minute and so she borrowed her cousin Alexa's pink boots.
She had lots of cousins that came to watch her! Tracey and the kids came all the way from Ririe.
She loved performing for everyone and was one of the loudest singers! We are so proud of our little cowgirl! I don't have any pictures of the actual event because cameras weren't allowed. We did purchase a DVD so we'll be able to watch it over and over again! Dawson and Olivia had been singing the songs for weeks in anticipation of it...and I'm sure the singing will continue much to Isaac and Adam's dismay! "Once upon a time in the wild wild west..."
Our cowgirl with her fans! Christian, Dawson, Maiah, Kathryn, Olivia, Adam, Lolo, Erica & Alexa
