Happy Birthday Dawson! The big 6

Today is Dawson's 6th birthday! He has been counting down the days until his birthday for the last 2 weeks. A couple days ago we told him about his birthday surprise and so the countdown changed..2 more days until his HELICOPTER RIDE. Dawson is our big machines boy. He loves anything and everything with a big engine. I had purchased a helicopter tour for 2 at the back to school bash last month and the more Matt and I talked about it we decided Dawson would have more fun going with Matt than I would. we talked to the other kids to make sure they would be okay with Dawson getting the flight and of course they all were excited. Our kids are so sweet to give to each other. They kept it a secret for a couple of weeks and were bursting at the seems...well mostly Matt was bursting at the seems so we broke down and told him a few days ago (thought we'd give him some time to be excited) I'll be sure and post some pictures! Here he is flying a helicopter on the computer last week (at the time he had no clue he would be flying on a real one)

Happy BIRTHDAY DAWSON!! We sure love our Daws. It's hard to believe he's already 6.
