Road Trip

This summer the kids and I took a road trip with my sister in law Melissa and her two boys Hank & Slade.  Our mode of transportation was the "dream van".  It was a comfy way to travel for 2 moms, 6 kids and a lot of gear.    We hit Mesa Verde National Park, Durango & Silverton Colorado and ended in Moab Utah.  We covered a lot of miles, a lot of sites and made a lot of memories in just a few short days.  Melissa and I did a similar road trip about 7 years ago when the kids were all under the age of 5..we left Isaac home to go to school and took the younger 5 kids..  Hopefully it's not another 7 years before we can fit another one in! The kids were great travelers and had a blast together!

First stop, dinosaur tracks just outside of Moab, UT
We saw Tow-mater in Monticello after our first dinner stop.

Day 2, Mesa Verda!   Kids loved the latters and pits.

Walking the streets of Durango, CO with 6 kids in tow.
We LOVED Silverton.  Fun to watch the train and walk the streets with the old shops.

My Camera died by the last day which was our stayover in Moab.   We had a great hike to Delicate arch in 90 degree temps at 9am.  Then cooled off at the power dam.   We have a trip planned to Moab next month so we can take Matt.  I'll get some good pictures then.
