Matt and I both had a few days off so I was hoping to pick up a TO (transoceanic) out of another base (SEA or SLC) and he would come along but no such luck. He ended up with an extra day off from driving the rafting shuttle at the last minute so we decided to just go somewhere internationally on our own, wherever we could find open seats, preferably in Delta One (first class-lay down seats). I was just getting off a trip (work) so we met in Seattle and raced to catch a delayed flight to Amsterdam with a bunch of open seats! We stayed 2 days and had the best time! The weather forecast was for rain the entire time we were there but we ended up with mostly sunny 65 degrees days with tiny bits of rain here and there.
