Officially Kama'aina

Well I passed my drivers test and am officially "Kama'aina" the Hawaiian name for "Local". With my Hawaiian I.D. I can get "Kama'aina" rates now. I also started my housekeeping job with Outrigger this week and it is working out well. I am done most days by 2 or 3 and it's great exercise. I would like to substitute at the kids school but need to take a class and see if they have a need. If so I probably won't keep my housekeeping job but for now it's a job!

Yesterday after I got off work we packed a cooler with dinner and went to the beach! We stayed until the sunset and had an amazing time! The boys got brave and were jumping off the lava rocks into the waves.
Matt and the kids racing into the water.

Isaac ready to jump!

This video is of Adam jumping! It's not the best quality of video...kind of reminds me of old home movies but at least you can see Adam's big jump! Look at these cute beach bums!

Such a great night!

Here's a few more shots from last week.

How fun! I love the pictures. I do have to say I share the terrible memory of keeping you up late and the hair well... I am still sorry! ;) But I remember when we went out to get ice cream with you guys and we came to see our house. I thought you were wonderful! I told Larry that I hoped you guys would move here and that we could do stuff together. Wish we could have done more. But, you made me feel like you cared as you tried to get to know me. It meant a lot! You are wonderful!

Oh I have one more... When I did Oliva's hair, she is an adorble little thing!!! The hand hung still melts my heart when I think of it. I think you are amazing with your kids and it makes me want to be better with mine.

Those are awesome pictures! I LOVE the one with your four kids in the sunset. When Nate got up this morning, your blog page was open on the computer and he commented on that picture too. You are quite the photographer.

You’re boys are brave. I went cliff diving once and I am a complete pansy. What an amazing adventure this must be for them.

I didn't know you got discounts for being a local...I guess that's a BIG yeah for passing the driving test now! I had a housekeeping job once...it's a great weightloss plan! At least it worked for me. Wonder why it doesn't work doing house work.

I have always wanted a picture of my kids in the sunset on the beach. I just might blow yours up and hang it on our wall! ;) Very cute. Keep up the memories!

Dallen is going to be so amazed that Adam jumped off the rock. What a jump Adam!

I AM SO JEALOUS!!! I couldn't believe it when I heard the news you were moving. Sounds...and looks like...all is going well for you guys. What great experiences and memories you are creating for your family. I think moving keeps a family very close together. Sometimes it would be good for me to move out of my comfort zone a little.
Yeah!! Local!! Someone was trying to tell me about the fees and being a local...is it true it's harder to get a job when you aren't considered local??? Or is that a states rumor??? Great to hear from you and I'll keep checking back on you.
I'm thinking I need to take a trip to Hawaii now...we'll come visit. ;-)

Kerrie,

I am so sad you are not here. My mom wants to move to Logan. We found a house and just need to give a realtor some business. We would have asked you to write the offer:( Wish you were here!!!
