Well, a lot of you have asked about our job/life status here in Hawaii. Unfortunately it isn't coming as easy as we anticipated. We felt great about our decision to come here and we were sure our home would sell quickly and that Jobs would fall into place right away. We have always been very blessed by the Lord and things have worked out amazingly well and usually very quickly...Until now. Although it is tempting to get discouraged and question what we are doing here we aren't going to allow ourselves to do that. We know we felt peace and quiet assurance from the Lord when making this decision and so we are confident that things will work out according to his will and in his time. Faith is a powerful thing and at times our faith is tried which will ultimately make our faith stronger. This will be a great opportunity to teach our children. We are praying that our home will sell soon. That will put us in a better position to be unemployed in paradise. :o) The good news is that the kids are adjusting amazingly well and couldn't be happier. We are surrounded by amazing people, and have already learned so much. The kids keep saying "people are so nice in Hawaii" The kids are catching the "aloha spirit" and I hope it's something they will always carry with them.
Aloha!

We will pray for you too. If Nate was reading your blog he would sing the "every little thing's gonna be all right" song for you. He sings it to me pretty much every day and it always makes me feel better. Enjoy your time being unemployed in paradise . . . but I hope that it is short-lived!
