I had my first day of training for Macaroni Grill. Can you say yum yum!! I am so excited to be part of the opening team. It seems like we have a great management team and good balance of workers (old people, young people, middle age like me people). I have training every day next week so that will be a little insane! Then we practice on our friends and family next weekend and open November 24th! I can hardly wait!

Middle-age?!?!? There needs to be another category between young and old. That just doesn't sound right. Do you work on Thanksgiving Day? I was just reading up about nice things to do during the holidays and one idea was to leave your waiter or waitress an unusually large tip. Maybe you'll luck out and your customers will have read the same article.

Wow! good luck! I've always thought it would be so hard to be working on the very first night of a new restaurant. I'm sure it will be great though!
