We had a fun Halloween but I missed out on all photo opportunities. We started the festivities early with the ward trunk or treat on Wednesday. This included a chili cook-off, kids activities, pumpkin carving contest etc. I was busy helping with the kid stuff that I totally forgot to take any pictures. This was also mom's last night with us and I am bummed I didn't get a picture of her with the kids in their costumes. Friday they changed into their costumes at school and the entire school had a costume parade. When I took my camera out of the bag to take pictures the batteries were dead! Of course I forgot to charge the batteries for trick or treating that night too. I did get a picture of Olivia before we left for the trunk or treat so I will upload that once we set up our other computer. She was "super girl", Dawson was a baseball player, Adam a tennis player, and Isaac was a wizard. They were easy, low key costumes and the kids were happy with them! Today I picked up a couple costumes on clearance for next year. Gotta love %75 off.
In other news we moved this weekend! It was a fairly easy move since we only have so much "stuff" I was surprised at how much we have actually accumulated in the 5 months we've been here. It doesn't take long. mostly just yard sale stuff (boogie boards, bikes, movies, books, etc) We are enjoying our new home and are busy getting settled in. We got approval from the landlord to do some painting so that makes me happy. I hadn't noticed how "pink" the interior was. It's a "wanna be tan" pink but it's definitely more pink than tan.
Matt is loving his new job! He spends time in some rather INSANE homes. multi-million dollar homes. They take good care of him too. He eats lunch everyday in the company cafeteria. That makes me happy because he gets fed well at work that lets me off the hook a little bit with good dinners (Just kidding, like Matt has ever cared what I cook for dinner). He use to always just want a peanut butter sandwich for lunch but he is enjoying the real food he's getting.
I've been using our laptop since being in our new place and I can actually see all of your blog backgrounds! They are awesome! The pages show up funny on my other computer, just plain. I hadn't even seen my own blog background so I was relieved that I like it. Ha ha.

Okay, so I just looked up at my walls and thought "they are kind of pink . . . a "wanna be tan" pink. I was telling Nate the other day that I want to repaint, but he thinks we should wait until our kids get older so we don't have to worry about all the nicks and dings and crayons. We'll see. For now, I just like to hang out in the basement where I LOVE our paint colors.
Are you still in the same ward after your move? It wasn't just to get out of the Primary Pres gig right? :)
We're in the same ward if we moved 20 miles away let alone a few blocks away. I wish it were so easy! Ha ha!
My bathroom and kids rooms were the "pink wanna be tan" shade. It didn't look good with anything, even just the white we painted over it with in the kids' rooms was tons better. Have fun!! Can't wait to see pictures. . . charge those batteries!!
