Happy Birthday Adam!!!

Adam turned 9 years old on Monday! We celebrated at the pool with friends from school and a few extra kids we found at the pool. as soon as I got everything out of the car and under the pavilion (that isn't really covered) it started to RAIN!! we're not talking just a little rain but a Major downpour!! normally we welcome the rain because we don't get much of it but it was really bad timing. The helium balloons were laying on the ground because they were so wet, the pinata and presents got soaked!! It didn't last long and so when it cleared up the balloons found new life and I tried to hang the pinata, it was so soggy that it fell right off the hook. the kids didn't seem to even notice the rain and just went on playing!! When it came time for the pinata we brain stormed different ideas of how to use it. We ended up letting each of the kids take turns drop kicking it until it eventually burst open! They loved it. I think that's the new favorite way to open a pinata! We sure love our Adam and are so grateful he's ours! Happy 9th birthday Adam!!! I can't believe you'll be a FOURTH grader!! WE LOVE YOU!!

Dawson sure stands out with his pale complexion and red hair!

Your kids are getting so old. I still have a picture of me holding Adam when he was just a newborn. I was just pregnant with Ben but hadn't told anyone yet. Time flies!

I wish I could have seen the drop kicking of the pinata. That sounds great!

Hey Keri,

Hope you're having fun on the mainland. Wish we could see you. Matt, hope you're surviving without your wife and kids, I'm sure you miss them lots.

What a fun and exciting birthday party! Good times. So to answer your questions and hopefully I can get them all... Yes! We did sell our house, sort of. We're doing a rent-to-own with a family in our ward. It's more of a hassle and a risk, but we'll make more from it in the end. And thanks for saying our house looks great because since we took our sign down a few weeks ago we haven't taken very good care of the yard, we have some weeds that are out of control! Anyway, that house right by ours that's for sale IS the one my dad lived in and I don't remember what your other question was about that, so now that this comment is forever long, you can just e-mail me if you'd like! It's kylee87@hotmail.com
