For Matt's birthday I surprise Matt and the kids with an overnighter at Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel. I got a killer deal on priceline.com and it was fun to have a secret planned. I packed up the suitcase and had it in the car the night before while matt was at work. We had a BLAST!!! The hotel is right on one of our favorite beaches. We got to watch the sunset on the beach and then hang out in the hot tub and pool. We ate dinner at Macaroni Grill and then woke up to more beach and pool. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of the cute birthday boy before he had to head to work the next day but the kids and I stayed and enjoyed the beach and pool some more. It was a great mini-vacation. I've decided there is an ocean in Heaven. It's so peaceful and beautiful and it really brings out the best in our kids. They get a long GREAT when they are at the beach. I think heaven has many beaches to enjoy!

That does it . . . I'm planning a surprise weekend getaway for my family. I think everyone I know has stayed in a hotel in the last two weeks and I'm feeling the itch. I've never tried priceline. Is it tricky to get a good deal? You seriously live in the most beautiful place on earth!

I really do hope that one day we can come out there....It just doesn't seem possible right now. Boo! your kids are getting soooo big. The beach pics rock. I can't tell you how jealous I am. you always plan such fun things! you are the coolest wife and mom ever. (not to mention, Friend!) I miss you quality!
