Okay after the kind comments on my parenting skills...I think I need to clarify my reaction to Isaac's lost glasses... I was not happy! He did get a little bit of a guilt trip that he should have thought to tell someone when he realized 10 minutes later what he did. But yes I did dig through piles of soup and was pretty nice about it...I did have him do a bag too but let him quit after one because it was nasty! My arms and legs were crusty by the time we got home. I really only searched because I thought Matt would be upset w/ Ike if we didn't find them (not that he get's very upset...he's the patient one) He has been given Isaac a bad time about wearing his glasses lately and keeping track of them (that was the only reason he even wore them that day and probably why they got thrown away because he wasn't use to them). Anyway, when I told Matt what we'd been up to he just kind of laughed and said he probably wouldn't have hunted for them.
(He's hunted through Hotel garbage many times for guests lost items).
P.S. I do loose my cool at times...I promise!

Don't fight it - you are a great mom. I have yet to meet a mom who doesn't lose her cool at times.
What a great memory you'll have to share with your grandkids in 20 years . . . the time their dad threw away his glasses on soup day. The story is almost worth the crustiness. Almost.
You couldn't change my mind ;) You are still wonderful...how is your hair now that it has been a week? Let me know!
