It's Matt's Birthday!

I don't normally do these cheesy relationship info things but since Tracey tagged me today and it happens to be Matt's Birthday (GO Matt) I thought I'd participate. That means I tag all within reading distance. And I will start out by saying I am the luckiest girl ever to have Matt Blackburn for my husband.

How long have you been together? Over 11 years

How long did you date? About a year.

How old is he? 38 Today…Now that is OLD

Who eats more? Depends on what it is

Who said I love you first? He did although I knew I loved him long before he ever said it, I just refused to say it first.

Who is taller? Depends on the shoes and my hairstyle, but often me. One time we each stood under a fancy scientific thing (w/out shoes) that bounced a lazer off the ceiling or something and it read out our height as exactly the same to the cm

Who is smarter? Definitely Matt

Who does the laundry? Often Matt if he wants clean socks and underwear. Laundry is my housekeeping weakness (and dishes).

Who does the dishes? Matt…am I lucky or What? He enjoys doing the dishes or so he says and I choose to believe him.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Matt

Who pays the bills? Me, he wouldn’t know where to start

Who mows the lawn? Me, except for when we had 2/3 acre with a riding lawn mower I didn’t know how to run...I did mow it by hand a few times though.

Who cooks dinner? Usually me but Matt helps out often

Who drives when you are together? It’s pretty even

Who is more stubborn? I really don’t think either one of us are.

Who kissed who first? It was pretty mutual!

Who asked who out? He claims it was me, he always tells people “she finally asked me out” We were in the same student ward for years and I probably was the first one to invite him to do something. But he did ask me to go flying once like a year before we started dating but I had to work.

Who proposed? He did and it was an awesome surprise. He had gone ring shopping without me having a clue.

Who is more sensitive? Probably me but he’s got a good sensitive side

Who has more friends? I keep in touch with mine better but EVERYONE loves Matt. He’s just a likable guy. I’m lucky he’s mine.

Who has more siblings? He does…7 for him and 6 for me

Who wears the pants in the family? Of course Matt… but these days it’s shorts.
