Sunset and speedo man

Mom and the kids and I went to watch the sunset on the beach tonight. It was kind of a cloudy night so we were worried that we wouldn't be able to see much of the sun and maybe it wouldn't be a good night for a sunset but we were heading that way anyways for the outdoor movie and so we figured we'd give it a shot. This is the first shot I took and I thought the sky looked really cool....just wait for what was to come! Next is a shot of Grandma and the kids getting their feet wet. Another great one.


Can you say WOW? The clouds were moving and so the sunset was constantly changing, It really was amazing to watch. I have seen some beautiful sunsets since living here but tonights was by far the best I've seen. We ordered it special for Grandma.
The one picture we neglected to take was of the 88 year old man in a speedo who walked up and offered to take all of our picture! Mom quickly took him up on it (it's on her camera so I'll have to post it later). I had a hard time not laughing during the picture. Seriously he was wearing a tiny tight speedo and I'm not kidding about him being 88 or close to it. He must be an avid ocean swimmer because even with the sagging skin he had muscle! We couldn't stop laughing about it all evening and we wished we had gotten his picture. Now that would have been blog worthy! It was very kind and thoughtful of him to offer to take our picture. He was almost as awesome as the sunset.
