Pea Green Soup

What did you have for breakfast? Pea Green Soup

What did you have for lunch? Pea Green Soup

What did you have for dinner? Pea Green Soup

What did you do all night? Pee green Soup

That was on of our favorite jokes as kids. Tonight I made "pea green soup" for the first time (Split pea soup). It was yummy yummy. Thanks to the joke the kids were pretty excited about having it for dinner....too bad Isaac was the only one that loved it. I first had split pea soup when I was working at Elmer's in Boise. It always looked nasty to me and I've never liked peas but I kept hearing how good it was and once I tried it there was no stopping me... Every week when split pea and ham soup day rolled around I had to enjoy a bowl. yummm. Tonight I also made homemade foccocia bread. I have missed Firehouse pizza and thought I'd attempt some foccocia. It turned out yummy too. There's no school this week so I'm finding myself with more time on my hands (in case you were thinking I make homemade soup and homemade bread often).

Got to love that elementary school humor. Our favorite joke at this house is "Look under" "Under where?" "You said underwear . . . HA HA HA"

Mmm . . . Foccacia bread. That sounds so yummy today. Maybe I should drive to Logan for lunch. :)

Malin there's a firehouse pizza in centerville near the target there. Kids eat free on Tuesdays (one kid per adult at lunch and 2 kids per adult at dinner) mmmmm mmmm.

We always said "what you eating under there" "underwear" "Oooo you're eating underwear"!

Sounds good right now. You'll have to share the Foccacia bread recipe...

I'm laughing so hard about the pea green soup and the "so did the big fat lady" jokes. I'm tired. Good memories. Too funny.
