Snow in Hawaii
Here is Proof of SNOW in Hawaii. Matt and the kids headed up to try to play in the snow this week! We have gotten a lot of rain the last few days which means that Mauna Kea has gotten SNOW! The road was closed at the visitors center at 9000 feet so they didn't actually get high enough to be in snow. They loved being up the mountain and a couple of them felt a little queezy being that high. They don't recommend bringing children any higher than that (The summit is almost 14000 feet) The kids don't own a pair of pants so they headed up in shorts, and jackets. I stayed home to get all the primary binders ready for a new year. Nothing like procrastinating!

I couldn't get the video to work, I always have problems with things like that. Maybe it's my computer. But I can't believe it really snows in Hawaii! I never would have thought. I love that dog in the snow clip you sent me! That was so awesome and totally something Sal would do if we had that much snow!
Ike is so totally you. Too funny. I like his hair long like that too. Cute. Can't believe he turns ten!!
wish you could be here...Bishop and Sister Thomas will speak at 11:00 AM on January 18 at 1650 E 2600 N in North Logan for their "un-farewell"!
