Olivia had an awesome birthday...Hannah montana style! She had 7 of her girlfriends over. It was going to be a pool party at the community pool but when we woke up to rain I hurried to make a back up plan. We moved the party to our house and rocked out to hannah montana. The girls made their own body glitter, painted fingernails, had subway and then it started to clear up so we decided to hit the pool. The girls didn't last too long in the pool because it was still little chilly...okay probably high 70's but that's cold for Hawaii. They Played a gift exchange game (I had picked up 10 for $10 necklaces, bracelets etc from claires), Then Olivia opened her presents, we had hannah montana cake and then went home! I took a nap from 6pm-7pm when it was all over!! It was an exhausting day for me but a rockin' day for Olivia.
Thank goodness Matt had the day off to help out with the last minute changes! After my nap we all watched Nacho Libre as a family...does it get any better for a 7 year old girl?? After the boys were in bed and Olivia was heading that way, this was our conversation.
Me, "I'm going to the store"
Olivia "can I come?....it's my birthDAY"
Me (after some thought) "I guess so"
Olivia "YES!!!! I won't tell anybody"
Olivia "Do I get to stay up as late as I want when I'm a teenager"
me "No"
Olivia "Can I have a bunkbed when I'm a teenager"
What a nut... what will we do when she is a teenager? She's so fun! It will be a party everyday with her around just like it is now. We love you Olivia! Happy birthday!
