Drivers Test Bah!

Well yesterday we headed up to Waimea to take our drivers tests. The last time I took a drivers test (almost 8 years ago in Tetonia) I didn't miss a single question so I was pretty confident I wouldn't need to study. Not so! I must admit I didn't pass!! Matt however did. I was joking around on the way home saying I couldn't believe I hadn't passed but that Matt did. His response.."ya are you going to blog that?" So there it is...It has gone down in History! I will go back next week and try again. Maybe this time I will study!

Last night was ward temple night and they had child care at the stake center next door. I ended up staying with the kids since Dawson was a little nervous. The kids all had such a great time and felt right at home. We have a very welcoming ward and I enjoyed visiting with the 2 ladies that were helping the youth watch the kids. After the session (9pm) everyone else went bowling but we decided it was way past our bedtime. We are still adjusting from Utah time so it was 1am on our body's clocks. From the sounds of things there will be many more activities to come. We had such a great time and it was good for the kids to make new friends.

It's ok!!! This may be the only thing you fail your entire life!!! Claim the glory that comes with a failed written driving test.

JELOUS JELOUS JELOUS!!! I wish Iwish I wish... What the life. I hope you have the time of your lives there in Hawaii. I am one who LOVES the water and used to dream of being a Marine Bioligist who swam with Killer whales at Sea World all day. Well... Utah doesn't quite present those opertunities... well such is life but I can't wait until we get the opertunity to come and visit!!! Looks like so much fun! Keep us posted on the lives of the blackburn's it is so fun to read!

I'm glad you are making new friends. It is great to move into a new ward and already have a sense of belonging.

I'm planning on never letting my driver's license lapse just so I won't have to retake the test. I'm already thinking that I might get lasik before mine is due for renewal. I've never had a "corrective lenses" restriction, but I'm not sure I could read those little letters one more time. I'm getting old!
