A couple days ago my brother Scott brough his roommate's new puppy "Bruce" over to visit Koda. Bruce is a bulldog and they were quite the pair. Koda loved Bruce and Bruce actually handled Koda quite well. Bruce is one of those "so ugly it's cute" situations. I didn't ever get a good shot of his face though.
We took Koda to her new home tuesday night. Isaac was really wanting to at least have her for her birthday but since that isn't until October we had an early b-day party for her the night before she left. We made her a "cake" out of canned dog food and let her open some presents (chew toys of course).
We were all able to go out to her new home and watch her settle in. She is in a great place in a small town called "Paradise" The kids got a kick out of the thought that we are moving to "Paradise" and she will be living in "Paradise too. It was pretty sad for the kids especially Isaac and Adam. They are being good sports about it all. She has great new owners who are very excited about her. They are a couple of empty nesters. He was looking for a pipe moving buddy and she a jogging buddy. They will be a great fit for Koda.
