Yard Sale time!

Thanks to those who voted! The votes have been tallied and we are officially moving to Hawaii. We couldn't have done it without you all! Just kidding. I told Matt about the poll and he said we should start living our lives by polls on the blog...the next question will be what color should we paint the house and then should we fly Hawaiian Airlines or Delta and then...Should we bring our crock pot or sell it? You get the idea. No really the poll was fun and you might just see another one sometime.
We are still feeling good about a Hawaiian move. So good in fact that we are having the first (in a series) of yard sales tomorrow!! wish us luck. We plan to eventually sell practically everything we own! We will wait to sell some of our nicer furniture until we've sold the house.... Just because it looks better furnished. Tomorrow we are selling toys, clothes, some tools and a bunch of just stuff. It's hard to believe how much we've accumulated in the last 8 years (we've been married 10 but some of you might remember we sold EVERYTHING 8 years ago when we moved to Saipan)...you probably bought some of it. We've gotten rid of stuff every single move too so I can't imagine how much "stuff" some of you must have that have stayed in the same house a while. We figure we have enough stuff to sell that it will pay for the move over there! That's the goal anyway! It feels pretty good to just let go of "things" I keep thinking about something my first institute teacher use to say..."We are not here to accumulate things...we are here to keep the commandments of God". It helps me keep it all in perspective...it's just "stuff". It really is quite "freeing" too.
