Party with K&K and S&M

We had a nice relaxing couple of days with Matt's brother Klint (kim) & Scott (melissa) & kids (Hank & Slade). It was great to take a break from the projects and enjoy good company and good food! The kids had a great time playing with Hank& Slade. Dawson crashed on the living room floor within an hour after they left and I think he's OUT for the night! They played HARD!

K & K probably the only minute they weren't surrounded by the kids. * Notice the pink countertops are gone in the kitchen!! I'll take some house pictures when all the projects are done (Windows come tomorrow finally).

After dinner we found that the kids had created a "crash course" for the bicycles with all the junk from the garage or patio. They had a great time running into it all and were entertained for quite a while.



We have always said that Hank and Olivia were the Blackburn twins...the male version and the female version. They have the same little body and use to have the exact same hair when Olivia's was shorter. They even have a lot of the same mannerisms and the same scream! They love hanging out together! What do you think? Quite the pair huh?

Dawson and Olivia got to ride in the horse trailer with Melissa while Scott backed it up to the house. The guys loaded the piano into it. Matt's dad acquired a few old church pianos a few years ago and we were lucky to get one of them. It was only fitting for us to pass it on to Scott and Melissa since we're leaving. It's a good thing they had the horse trailer because it was pouring rain!

The guys getting "her loaded". We ended the festivities with lunch at Firehouse (yum yum) and by the time we finished it had turned into a beautiful day outside. Just in time for everyone to leave. We feel so lucky to get to hang out one last time before our departure. It's been fun living closer to both Klint & Kim and Scott & Melissa. We'll miss you guys! The next party is in Hawaii!!
